PSSD Advisory Board meeting

The 17th of October we had our yearly PSSD Advisory Board meeting. The aim of this session was to update the AB members of the recent developments and initiatives in PSSD and to discuss practical steps we can take to address the current challenges and opportunities in the job market​. Prior to the meeting, opinions were gathered on the current market challenges of PSSD, which were divided into three groups:

1. difficulty in perceiving the value of PSSD's contribution in a business context, and limited ability to measure impact;
2. competition from other product-related roles, such as management engineers and product managers, who may have overlapping responsibilities;
3. demonstrating the value and adapting PSSD skills in an environment increasingly dominated by technical experts and AI-driven innovations.

These themes have been discussed leading to some key insights informing our future initiatives.
