Multicultural interaction in PSSD

We are very happy to have invited Dr. Arun Verma, a leading figure in integrating intersectionality, inclusion and equity in higher education systems, policy and programmes both nationally and internationally.

The session will invite students of the first year, to explore and make sense of the ways in which identities, how we move through new spaces and values that connect students, through developing strategies for self-care and compassion, and co-create the characteristics and behaviours that can support an inclusive culture.
The session will be broken into three areas:

• reflection on intersecting identities, intersectionality and positionality,
• understanding self-care and compassionate practice,
• co-creating an inclusive culture.
