Designers are the only ones that can really bring a vision into the users’ hands. We can do something meaningful by combining the technology, business, user needs, and the ethical aspects of this job.
Riccardo Agosto, from Piedmont, Italy, holds a bachelor’s in Product Design and Visual Communication from Politecnico di Torino. He pursued the PSSD Master’s program, combining space and service design, and won a Fulbright scholarship, which allowed him to study and work in the US for eight months. This experience helped him transition from theory to practice.
After freelancing, he joined a global startup accelerator and later worked for two SaaS companies in the Netherlands. Now, as a staff designer and product manager, Riccardo is focused on guiding teams and leading product development. He believes designers play a key role in bridging technology, business, user needs, and ethics. He advises students to embrace learning, understand context, and collaborate internationally.
